Page 24 November 2011 www.thesoutherncross.org.au CARS ROCK: Rostrevor College students were practising their welcome last month for more than 200 vintage, hot-rod and high-end sports cars, motorbikes and special interest vehicles expected to converge at the Woodforde all-boys school on November 6 to raise funds for a recording studio. The Festival of Cars and Music will feature 10 bands with students from Years 5 to 12 performing on the day, which will include exhibitor awards for the best dressed vehicle. Last year's inaugural event raised $8000 for the recording studio, which is due to be completed by the start of next year. The festival will run from 11am to 4pm. Entry fee of $2 required.
